The Venice Biennale is a massive international exhibition that showcases the work of hundreds of contemporary artists, held every two years in Italy's glamorous City of Water. It includes national pavillions for over 88 countries, which presents the art of each country's nomiatded artist. In 2015 the theme of the Biennale was 'All the World's Futures' curated by Okwui Enwezor. The Venice Biennale in English also called the "Venice Biennial" refers to an arts organization based in Venice and the name of the original and principal biennial exhibition the organization presents. The organization changed its name to the Biennale Foundation in 2009, while the exhibition is now called the Art Biennale to distinguish it from the organisation and other exhibitions the Foundation organizes.
